What time can we check-in? When is check-out?

Arrival is at 4:00pm and departure at 11:00am.

Can we arrive early, or leave late?

We are as flexible as possible. As soon as your chalet is ready you are welcome to arrive. If we do not need the chalet right away, you are welcome to stay longer.

How do I make a reservation?

You can use either our secure reservation system on this website, or phone us anytime.  We ask for a deposit of 50% of your total booking amount to hold your reservation.  This can be paid by VISA or MC. The remaining balance is payable upon arrival.

What is the cancellation policy?

If a cancellation is made within 30 days of your arrival date, the deposit is non-refundable. Otherwise, the deposit will be refunded minus a 15% processing fee.

Due to our small number of chalets and the impact a short notice cancelation has on our business, any cancelation made within 7 days of a stay will be fully charged.

Is there WIFI in the chalets?

Yes. Our WiFi signal is a true Val Davidois. It is there for you but it takes some time to relax.

Our location (at the feet of a mountain) is tricky and despite our best efforts, WiFi is uneven. It topnotch WiFi is a deal breaker, we sadly recommend you do not stay with us.

Are bed linens & towels included in the rental?

Yes. But we do ask that you bring your own beach towels for the jacuzzi, pool or lake (chlorine and sand harm our equipment).

As an environmental-friendly company, we supply one set of bath towels per person. Furthermore, our small on-site laundry has a limited capacity.

Is my chalet guaranteed?

We will do everything possible to give you your choice of chalet. In the event that we have to change it, you will get an almost identical cottage or you will get an upgrade.

*The main differences in our cottages are the amount of beds on the mezzanine. Longer stays and larger groups can force us to reorganize reservations according to sleeping arrangement needs.

Is there a telephone in the chalet?

No, there are no phones in the chalets, but cell service is generally excellent.  We have a phone in office which you are welcome to use if needed.

What is your policy on smoking?

Smoking is only permitted on the outside balconies of your chalet, and we ask that you close any windows and doors nearby.  Smoking is prohibited inside all chalets and elsewhere on our grounds (hot tub, pool area, lake front, etc). Please pick up all cigarette butts.

Do you take a damage deposit?

Not for most rentals, but we do ask for a valid credit card on file.  If you do not have a credit card, we do ask for either a cash or cheque damage deposit of $300.

Is there housekeeping in the chalets?

Your chalet will be thoroughly cleaned prior to your arrival and after your departure. Daily housekeeping can be arranged at an extra cost. Prior to your departure, we ask that you remove your garbage/recycling (bins are on-site), clean and put away your dishes and sweep the floor.  Cleaning supplies are available in each chalet if you need them.

Are pets really permitted?

We have dog treats at the front desk. We ask that you not let them on the furniture, that you pick up after them and keep them on a leash. We can provide bowls, blankets and towels. Pets are not permitted in the pool area… but are welcome to swim in the lake! (And ou can take them on a hike in Parc Dufresne next door)

What other rules apply?

When reserving your chalet, all of our guests must agree to the following conditions and rules.  It’s important that you read them to make sure that we provide the type of vacation you are looking for. We request that you sign a copy of these rules upon your arrival. You can read them here:
