The Laurentians is renowned for its ski hills and being in the middle of the Laurentians, we have easy access to all of them!
Vallée Bleue: a most authentic family resort. It is perfect for beginners and young children. You will never wait in a lift line and the trails are very well maintained. It is owned and operated by a local family! It located just 2km from our chalets. Also, Fridays- $10 lift tickets! (From january, 9 to march 20th 2015, excluding school break weeks).
Belle Neiges: a great little hill where everyone can find a challenge. It has a nice variety in trails. Great for beginners or anyone looking to just enjoy their skis for a few hours. Wednesdays ladies day $15. ( Start from january 5th) Located 4km from our chalets.
Mont Plante: located just behind our chalets, this old ski hill has not been operational since the 1970’s, yet the trails are still there! Either skin-up on the cross-country ski trails, or snowshoe to the top and you are guaranteed fresh tracks. A well kept local secret (that we are now telling you!). Expert only.
Mont Tremblant: The biggest mountain by far, the most diverse terrain, and arguably the best snow. Mont Tremblant is a 4-season tourist mecca, and also the best skiing in the area. For serious skiers, there is no other place. The village is a 20 minute drive from our chalets, and the ski hill a 30 minute drive.
Mont Blanc: The second largest ski hill in the Laurentians, Mont-Blanc is a great hill for all levels. It has very diverse terrain, reasonable rates and a great atmosphere. Mont-Blanc is a 15 minute drive from our chalets ( special price voucher at the reception).
The largest night skiing network in North America and well known for both the village and the slopes. There are 6 hills in the St-Sauveur area (a 10-20 minute drive):
Outdoor skating rinks are such a wonderful part of the Québec winter! We actually have 3 of them in our little town. Just in Val-David, you will find:
Just a quick 2 blocks from our chalets, the rinks are illuminated at night and there are heated shelters for changing your skates ( open 9am to 10pm). They are all free access and open to everyone! You can rent skates for $7/person in the Roc n’Ride shop.

Don’t miss this uniquely Canadian experience and try a Laurentian Dog Sledding adventure! Dog sledding is offered just an 8 minute drive from our chalets with various packages available.

There is a privately owned movie theatre that plays most new releases in Ste-Adèle. Cinema Pine is just a 15 minutes drive from the chalets, they regularly have showings in both English and French.

Our local equestrian club offers many wonderful options for exploring the beautiful mountains on horseback. Group trail rides, private trail rides, cowboy experience and even pony rides are all available year round. Bonus – prices are extremely reasonable!

Although snowmobiling is not permitted in the village of Val-David (which is nice for noise levels), just a couple kilometers outside the village, is the snowmobile capital of the Laurentians! We have 2 584 Km of snowmobile trails in the Laurentian area. With many options for guided or unguided rentals, the Val-David/Ste-Agathe area is a great base for your snowmobile adventure.
When comparing snowmobiling packages, it is important to make sure the following are included: rental of snowsuits (you really must have one made for snowmobiling), gas, insurance, access to the trails, guides, timeframe. Also each company differs for minimum age requirements of passengers.
