Terms & Conditions

To ensure transparency and customer satisfaction, we have implemented terms and conditions. Please read this policy carefully before booking your stay.

  1. Cancellation Policy

    • Reservations for a single chalet

      • Cancellation more than 30 days before arrival: 100% refundable.

      • Cancellation between 30 and 10 days before arrival: the 50% deposit is non-refundable.

      • Cancellation less than 10 days before arrival: the total amount of the stay will be charged.

    • Group bookings (for more than one chalet or duplex)

      • The policy for a chalet does not apply to multiple bookings.

      • The deposit is non-refundable.

      • Cancellation must be made at least 2 months prior to arrival to avoid being charged in full.

        ⚠️We strongly recommend that you take out trip cancellation or interruption insurance to protect yourself in the event of an unforeseen event (illness, accident, exceptional situation, etc.).
         

  2. Special reimbursement conditions

    • Force Majeure: In the event of exceptional circumstances (natural disaster, pandemic, etc.) making the stay impossible, we may offer a partial refund or a postponement of the reservation depending on the situation.

    • Interruption of stay: If the stay is interrupted after arrival for reasons beyond our control, no refund will be made for unused nights.
       

  3. Modification of the Reservation

    • Any modification requests (date changes, extensions) must be made at least 3 days before arrival. We will do our best to accommodate these requests based on chalet availability, and additional fees may apply.
       

  4. Security Deposit

    • A $250 security deposit per stay will be temporarily frozen on your credit card, in addition to the balance due. This amount will be released upon inspection by our housekeeping team, provided no damage has been noted and there is no odor of cigarettes in the chalet.

    • The security deposit is refunded within 72 hours of the end of your stay, provided the chalet is left in its original condition.

  5. Exceptional Relocation

    • In a situation beyond our control requiring the relocation of your reservation, Village Suisse undertakes to find you a chalet of an equivalent or higher category. You will be informed of the change by telephone and email. The right to cancel the reservation does not apply if a new chalet is allocated to you. If no alternative is available, the reservation will be canceled free of charge and a full refund will be issued.
       

  6. Refund Procedure

    • To cancel or modify a reservation, please contact us directly at [email address/contact]. Refunds will be processed within 7 to 10 business days after cancellation confirmation.
